Livestock farming

The branch is presented at «The Trading house "Dolinsky"», starting 2007 we focus our attention at dairy reproduction, improving of the selection and the breed exchange of red steppe to black-spotted, red-spotted and Holstein.

  Efforts of cattle breeders are directed to increase of efficiency of cattle and decrease in the cost price of production. So, annual average milk yield is 4 thousand kilos of milk per cow (total number of dairy herd is 240). It is almost twice more than it was at the time of foundation of «The Trading house "Dolinsky" company. The milk cost price in 2007 was 0,94 grn. Such result was reached by improvement of the work management, leading the maintenance staff to the optimal conditions and the main thing is feed quality improvement.   

 New combine "Don-680 M" purchase, the equipment for preserving agents applying during siloing and keeping the rules of preparation helped a lot and promoted preparation of green mass in short terms, during the period providing its maximum fodder value. Keeping of the targeted animal diets worked out for each group has affected increase of milk yields and daily average of weight gain.

This branch is developing. It is supposed to increase total number of dairy livestock up to 400 by the end of 2008 year with the help of growing heifers and purchase about 100 incalvers of Black Holstein. We plan to increase a dairy farm up to 450 cows of total number by the end of 2008 yr. This is exactly the number of livestock the system of a milking hall of German company "Westfalia Surge" we’re going to use in this complex was designed for. A complex for dairy herd is essentially new design representing, a metal skeleton with "walls" - mobile curtains, transparent "windows" in a ceiling. Such farm will provide constant fresh air inflow and as much as possible maximum extended day light that at scientifically proved feeding, maintenance service, in a complex, will raise efficiency of cows.

We will add one more positive factor – tether less maintenance. Next year we are planning building of one more caw house with as much as possible power operation service there. The complex also includes systems of filtration and milk cooling. New constructions would let us increase total number of diary and reconstructing livestock up to 1200 cows.
